Return and Refund Policy
At Your iDeas Shop, we strive to provide the best possible shopping experience. We want you to love your personalized items. Please review our policy below regarding returns, refunds, and exchanges.
1. Return Period
You have 30 calendar days from the date you receive your item to request a return.
2. Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return:
The item must be in its original condition, unused, with tags attached.
It must be returned in its original packaging.
You must provide the receipt or proof of purchase.
3. Non-Returnable Items (Custom Products)
Please note that because our products are made to order and personalized specifically for you, we cannot accept returns for custom items based on "change of mind" or personal dissatisfaction with the design you selected.
Exceptions: The following items are final sale and cannot be returned unless they are defective or damaged:
Custom or personalized products (e.g., items with unique designs, photos, or engravings).
Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, or plants).
Personal care items (e.g., beauty or hygiene products).
Gift cards.
4. Damages, Manufacturing Errors, and Defective Items
We take full responsibility for the quality of our work. Please inspect your order upon receipt.
We offer a full refund or free replacement if:
The item arrived damaged or broken.
There is a manufacturing defect.
We made an error in customization (e.g., we printed the wrong text, used the wrong font, or the print placement is significantly incorrect compared to the preview).
We do NOT offer refunds if:
The error was in the file/text uploaded by the customer (e.g., spelling errors made by the customer, low-resolution photos provided by the customer).
You simply changed your mind regarding a custom-made item.
If you believe your item is defective or incorrect, please contact us immediately at support@yourideas.shop with photos of the issue.
5. Return Process & Shipping Costs
If your return is approved (based on the eligibility above), we aim to make the process as easy as possible.
How to start: Contact us at support@yourideas.shop or call us at +1 403-880- 3586 within 30 days of receiving your order.
Return Shipping: We offer free returns. We will provide you with a prepaid return shipping label via email.
Packing: Print the label, attach it to the package, and ensure the items are packed securely to prevent damage during transit.
Address: Returns must be sent to: 1139a 42 Street Southwest, Calgary, AB, T3C 1Z2, Canada.
Important: Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.
6. Restocking Fees
We do not charge any restocking fees. Returns are processed free of charge.
7. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected at our facility, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Approval: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 10 business days.
Delays: Please note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the refund to your account. If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return, please contact us at support@yourideas.shop.
8. Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
9. European Union Customers
If your purchase was shipped to the European Union, you have a legal right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason, without explanation.
The item must be in its original condition, unused, and in its original packaging.
Proof of purchase is required.
Note on Custom Goods: According to EU law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized.
